Friday Question #23
If you could “uninvent” any past invention, which one would it be? (Consider all the ramifications of eliminating the invention.)
The Alarm Clock. It’s a not a responsible answer, but think of how much better you would feel if you woke up naturally, with the sun, rather than to some beeping or loud music! Maybe it would change our society, and everyone would be more lax with work hours and deadlines.
Okay, let’s just get rid of clocks altogether!

The nuclear/atom bomb.
If I had to pick a more daily invention - the body-weight scale. Stupid thing.

The machine gun…

It’d be so awesome to not have to feel the pressure to rise at an ungodly hour without any deadlines. That’s the life I want!

I’m in, but I’ll need you to explain it to my boss for me

This Q&A hit the nail on the head with me today. I’m utterly exhausted and would be much better off had I thrown the alarm clock out the window last night. Sometimes, I hate being responsible!

I think chocolate should have never been invented. It taste so good but does horrible things to my body. Sadly, if there was no chocolate I am sure I have so other form of sugary goodness to please my sweet tooth.

I was thinking along the lines of guns, but I’m really on board with Lynne’s 2nd thought: do away with religion.

Ug. I hate alarm clocks. Worst. Sound. Ever.
