Calphalon Pans Giveaway

By , April 26, 2010 5:06 am

Have you heard of CSN stores? I’ve actually seen them advertised on many blogs and looked at their sites a lot! They sell a huge variety of things – speaker stands, stability balls, home decor… the list could go on and on!

My favorite site of theirs however, is cookware.com. I like to browse and imagine what I would buy if I had a HUGE kitchen (and a lot of money)!

Maybe YOU have room in your kitchen for the Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick 10″ and 12″ Combo Set?

Calphalon Pan Giveaway

CSN contacted me about giving something away, and I thought these pans would be perfect! Calphalon is great for cooking in – especially since these are NON-STICK. And I don’t know about you, but we cook in a pan almost every night, so it helps to have more than one!

Thank you for offering this giveaway, CSN!

Heck yes I’ve got room for those awesome pans! I’d make…what wouldn’t I make? Veggie omelettes, pancakes, french toast, all sorts of stuff!

  5. teamarcia says:

I linked you on my blog!

  6. I would cook just about everything in them. My pots and pans are all really old and kind of gross. I make pancakes or waffles every Sunday so this would work nicely instead of my old gross ones.

  7. K says:

I would LOVE to have those pans. I would cook everything in them. ๐Ÿ™‚ Lets see- I’d make chicken, stir fry, pancakes, omlettes, everything… ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. What a great giveaway! Don’t count me in for the prize, though. I know I’ve got plenty of gorgeous, relatively new, nonstick pans … I’m sure someone else is much more worthy of this prize!

  10. That is a fantastic giveaway!! I think it is so cool that people are contacting you about giving stuff away!!!! Um, what would I cook in the pans?? Well…. I would have David “help” me cook everything (chicken, omelets, spinach, bacon) in them!!! We have used our skillets so much they are falling apart…
    =^..^=

  11. I’d be all over making omelettes in the smaller one! And the bigger one would be for sauteeing veggies that I would put in the omelettes! ๐Ÿ™‚ Clearly, I need both!

  12. k8 says:

    Homemade tortillas! booyah!

  13. tra says:

  14. Pauline says:

This contest is only open to US residents (awww) but I’ll tell you what I would cook in them anyways-Most recipes involving tofu and Yves veggie products. ๐Ÿ™‚

  15. Adam says:

This is such a fun and random giveaway! I’d cook eggs (wow, as I just read through the other comments, this looks like a VERY common thing!)

Sooo, in an effort to be NOT common… I’ll say that I’d cook pancakes in them. Gotta stick with the breakfast theme!

  16. Mmmm I would cook salmon! I have been on a fish kick lately and need some good pans for more even cooking!

  17. Holly says:

Oh my gosh….awesome giveaway! All my pots and pans are seriously the cheapest I could find. Waiting for that whole wedding registry thing. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’d definitely cook a good stirfry in them. I don’t do stirfry often because I don’t like my pots and pans!

  18. great giveaway! i would use those pans for everything! i have a giveaway on my site as well ๐Ÿ™‚

  19. Christina says:

Those would be perfect for eggs and hash browns, Better yet sauteeing veggies!

  20. Leah says:

OK – technically Im a Canadian reader, but I have a US address so does that count?

If it does, I would cook EVERYTHING in those pans. All I have right now are hand me downs from my mom. I do especially love omelets though. So I know I would make a lot of those. I would reheat leftovers in them too instead of using my microwave.

  21. Christina says:

I would learn how to cook things with them! ๐Ÿ™‚ I guess I could cook eggs since I’ve learned that much!!

P.S. Remember how your sister is moving into a new house July 1st and won’t have any cookware?? ๐Ÿ˜‰

  22. Erin says:

I actually have those pans! I LOVE them. We use them for everything. In fact, the leftovers I had today for lunch (sausage w/red peppers, onions and polenta) were cooked in those pans.

Here’s a little secret about Calphalon pans: if the non-stick surface ever starts to corrode or flake you can send them back to the company and get a replacement at no charge. No questions asked. My mom has done it a few times.

  23. Mica says:

They look perfect for crรชpes! Mmm, I’m thinking about a homemade crรชpe with Nutella RIGHT NOW.

  24. Nicole, RD says:

  26. Steven says:

I would cook you dinner in these pans. Ha ha. But more specifically, I would cook….a new home-made veggie burger recipe, or maybe something with nutritional yeast…or a new Tofu recipe, or heat up some leftover lentils and rice or Thai food…

  27. Ali says:

I would saute some mushrooms, onions, garlic and olives. Then throw in some cherry tomatoes and spinach … a little wine some pesto and finally toss in fresh cooked pasta … yum

  28. kapgar says:

I think the real question is what *wouldn’t* I use them for? We are actually Calphalon users now, but they’re kinda old school and we’ve beat them to death from years of constant use. We love these pans and desperately need to replace them, so winning two would definitely help.

But to seriously answer your question, we do a lot of vegetable sauteeing as well as making stir frys, etc. Plus there’s nothing like a good non-stick pan when making quesadillas!!! Great stuff. And I’m really loving doing some cooking myself.

  29. I would cook eggs, stirfry, tofu, and some other randoms. Unfortunately I don’t get too creative!

  30. P.S. your race calculator is awesome. you are racking up some serious miles.

  31. diane says:

Oh man, I freaking LOVE Calphalon cookware! I have been on an eggplant parmesan kick lately (random, I know) so I would probably cook up my eggplant. Or make a yummy stir fry like at Flat Top! ๐Ÿ™‚

  32. Courtney Ilax says:

  34. RunningLaur says:

I’d have to look into an awesome vegan dish to make inspired by you! I’ve been wanting to make a cashew based stir fry lately, and the non-stick would be great for that!

  35. Wow, what a great giveaway, Kim!!! Count me in. I would cook chicken cutlets in them. Those pans would be perfect for that! Oh, and for the record, I have a super small kitchen…so small that we hang up our pans on the wall by the basement stairs. : )
