Notes:

  • Yikes! I am behind on my training recaps! Life’s a little busy for me right now (with good stuff), so I haven’t been spending that much time on my computer. Anyway…
  • The only big note worth mentioning is how much I am struggling with the warmth and full sun. I am sweating out a ton of salt, which is highly unusual for me. This last Sunday morning I was really sick, I think due to dehydration (and stress, odd eating, high temps (85°F wtf), a hot tub and a few glasses of wine)… and woke up today feeling a bit blah as well, so a visit to the doctor might be in my future. Although! It looks like the cold and snow is back, so that should help. Ha ha ha.

  1. I love your training recap. You are so motivational! I need to get on a training schedule… Especially with Spartan coming up in the fall. YIKESSSS!!!

  2. Pete B says:

Nice pic! Also happy that the cold and snow is back, so much nicer to run in. 🙂

  3. I had the same salt problem last week. Clearly summer does not agree with us.

  4. Michele says:

I’m having the salt issue as well! I started using my Nuun tablets again hoping to replenish electrolytes that way instead of the sugar filled Powerade I used to drink!

    • kilax says:

Ooo, I am happy you found something to help you! is the nuun working? All of those sports drinks bug me, but my friend Rachel helped me find a vegan Electrolyte Stamina pill to try 🙂

      • Michele says:

I love Nuun! I started using it last year when I was biking pretty heavily in the summer. It’s amazing and doesn’t give me the GI issues that sugary sports drinks do, and it’s really refreshing!!!
