One letter* off from something delicious

*and a few words

160603fludge

Ha!

How have I run by this sign so many times and never noticed it until today? (Well, that’s actually because I am never running toward it, on the same side of the road – not sure why I looked today.)

So… dictionary.com doesn’t know what fludge is. Urban dictionary says it’s the residue left on the screens of a cell phone after use. I kinda doubt that is what this place is processing… but I definitely learned a new word today. And definitely plan on using it. Ha.

Maybe it’s some type of flancy fudge?! 🙂

It’s some kind of sewage by-product different from sludge, but to figure that out I had to read a bunch of different epa things. How weird, I wonder why it needed a unique word other than sludge!

Thanks for digging deeper than I did! Based on the road it’s on, I figured it was something to do with that. Now I wonder about the different word too. Hopefully that doesn’t mean it’s more toxic! This place is right by the FedEx place I blogged about last week 🙂

I am the worst about fludge, per the Urban Dictionary definition! Harrison is always surprised that I am so neurotic about many things but allow my laptop and cellphone screens to get filthy with…fludge!

Buah ha ha, even though I wrote this post about fludge, I still read “fudge” in your comments and am now imagining fudge all over your cell phone! And speaking of gross things like that… I used my earbuds right after a run the other day and they were a bit fludgey (ha ha ha) after. Ew.

That is a new word to me and it does sound kind of gross…

    LOL sounds icky
