The real reason we moved to Zion

So that on hot summer days, like today, I can run the five miles to Bobbi’s house and jump in to her pool!

Ahh yes. Cool, cool relief!

When we first looked at our house, back in August, I was so overly excited about it, and how close it was to Bobbi’s house, that I said to her one day “You guys plan on living in your house forever, right? Because we’re looking at one that’s only a few miles from you!” Basically, don’t move, because it would be awesome to have a ten minute drive to see you instead of forty-five minutes!

I felt foolish being so excited about it, so early (we didn’t think we’d get the house after that, then didn’t know until late November we were (hopefully) moving here), but Bobbi was excited too. Which made me so excited.

So I was happy today, to finally do the run between our places. Yay! I hope it’s something that happens many times again in the future! With or without the pool at the end.

Awwww! I am still so happy to have you so close! And I was the dork sending you all the houses for sale close to me while you were looking haha! I was every bit as excited about the possibility and am so happy that it all worked out the way it did.

    MUAH!

I love that you sent me all those!!! It made me feel excited about it, when the whole process was so stressful! I am so happy it worked out 🙂 🙂 🙂

      XOXO!

Good thing Bobbi’s not moving – it’d be annoying to move close to a friend only for them to move away 😉 (but you know we’re so far out that you’re still my nearest friend!)

Sorry your day was crappy, but at least you had something fun to look forward to! And it’s the weekend, yay!

That would be a total jerk move, right?! 😛 Crazy I am still your closest friend. Crazy awesome FOR ME!!!!!!

Yes, it helped to have this at the end of the day!

So nice to have a good friend close by (or within running distance, at the very least)!

That is awesome! my best friend was looking at a house 4 miles away but they didnt get it 🙁 Now she lives 15 miles away. I wish she is closer. It is so nice you can be close to your friend!

Dang! I wish she would have gotten that one!!!!! 15 miles is okay… depending on the roads to get there! 15 miles takes awhile out here if you can’t hop on the highway!

  5. That is the perfect ending to a run! I’ve been meaning to jump into the lake when I finish my run. I’ll probably do it when it is cold and then I will complain about it.

Although the pool is a nice incentive to make that run. Not that you need any other incentive to run. 🙂

  7. This is awesome! I definitely wish I could jump in a pool after some sweaty runs!
