I have a new running partner! We started running together last week!
His name is Summer.
We were only able to run together twice last week, but crazy thing – I still felt like he was there in spirit!
Ha. Ha ha.
(I’m just joking – any run, no matter the pace, is a good run. BUT I FEEL LIKE I’M MELTING (when I am out running)!!!!!)

AHHH, I love turtles! I hope s/he got across the road safely; I always feel so stressed when I see them on the road. Apparently, if you are going to help them cross a road, you have to put them in the direction they’re headed, not back on the other side of the road where they started.
One of these, I actually did pick up and move, in the direction he was headed. I was super careful – we have snapping turtles around here!

That would be fun! We have lots of frogs but no turtles yet!

Love everything about this post! And I have to ask – do you make friends with all wildlife you come across? Question #2 would be, are turtles considered wildlife?
I try to make friends with all the wildlife I encounter!!! 😀 And, LOL re: your second question! I think – since they’re in the wild, naturally?

Not yet! I should do that someday when I have free time. We have a new baby raccoon that comes to eat the bird seed <3

The last time I saw a turtle on the trail he could outrun me LOL I need something slower these days 😉
