Starting the month out right

I love starting the first day of the month off with some running miles. Today I treated myself by taking an hour leave so I could do a longer run during my lunch break.
And… hopefully that will be the hottest run of the month! Eek!
I NEVER see anyone I know in the locker room at work, and today I saw our director when I was getting ready to run, and our receptionist when I returned. And I saw someone from my team when I was returning to the building. Also, eek!
Although, I am not modest and don’t actually care. How could I, when I post pictures like this?
Yeah, my run today resurrected my tan lines! Eek!!!!

Oooh, pretty scenery today 🙂 I’m looking forward to a long 5 mile walk at GW after work! It’s a little warm for my liking, but SO pretty out there! And happy to give my tan lines a little more sun before it totally disappears 😉
Have a good walk! It will be gorgeous there! And you can do both loops in 5 miles!
It’s great you can run during work! My tan lines also returned this week. It was 70 degrees when I ran today and I struggled. As lovely as it is to have such nice weather in November, I suspect I totally lost my heat acclimation.
I hope it’s not warm like that for your marathon! Blah!

Wow, what a beautiful picture of the trees! I saw so many people out running yesterday – the weather was lovely for it (albeit a bit too warm for November for my taste).
WAY more runners than the last time I ran by the lake!!! And yeah, way too warm, yuck.
