Whirlwind

Gah, December has been such a whirlwind, right?!

Two weekends ago, I had a four-day weekend in Texas with my otra familia:

This is the third year in a row I’ve gone with Luca to see Santa!

Steven couldn’t come, but we FaceTimed with him, and sent him some photos (including drawings by Luca).

I got to go to Luca’s school and have lunch with him.

Then after a short (and BUSY!) week (work, work holiday party, dentist, celebrating with Anne and Terry, house prep and shopping…), I had a four day weekend here celebrating an early holiday with Steven’s family:

Up this week? Another celebration, Steven’s birthday, and Christmas with my family! I am having a lot of fun but I am so freaking worn out! I am definitely sleeping in on January 1st! (<— just kidding, if it’s nice, I will probably get up and run!)

    Busy times! Here too…
    Did you like Rogue One?

I actually didn’t like Rogue One too much! At least, the first half. The second half was a lot better. I have a whole list of issues with it… are you gonna see it?

I hear ya! I’m coming back home tomorrow morning and am looking forward to finally relaxing a little on Thursday and Friday. The last few months have been exhausting! Happy we got to celebrate with you guys though! 🙂

Wow, that is a LOT of socializing and holiday stuff.

I love Luca’s holiday sweater! I also love that you went to his school and ate lunch with him. That’s so sweet!

Yeah! It’s all fun but I am planning for a quieter January!

Isn’t he adorable?! I was really happy it worked out to eat lunch with him at school! It was an interesting experience! They’re allowed to bring a guest to the parents’ table, so we ate with him and a friend 🙂

  4. I feel you! I’ve had a different holiday party every single Saturday of this month, never mind weekday activities as well. Part of me can’t believe Christmas is on Sunday, while part of me definitely can, because of course time has gone by so quickly with how much I’ve had going on!

So much fun but SOOOOOO nuts, right?! I hope you have a few extra days off around the holiday to chill! Or at least, quieter days at work! 🙂
