Random Thoughts Thursday 151

  • I forgot to mention, during Anne’s visit, Khali actually came out from under the bed and hung out with us in the living room! Anne is the first guest that she’s done this around. Khali normally hides the entire time we have guests over. It was a big deal for me and Steven – it gave us hope! Now, if only Anne would tell us her secret!

  • In other Khali news, look at this handiwork she’s done on our new sliding door frames. Sigh.

  • Muah ha ha, the MBP bracelet was not in my possession very long – I had a few things to send my snister, so I slipped it in the package. Ha!
  • I met my coworker/friend Carolyn’s baby, Liam, last Friday! What a cutie! He’s so smiley and sweet! I’m so glad we got to meet!!!

OMG, that baby has such an amazing smile!

  2. Karen Bayne says:

Khali is like my Junior…he will hide even after someone leaves for hours just to be sure. Even when we get a delivery on the porch he will bolt and hide when I open the door lol Anne must put out a good pheromone 🙂

  3. Oh my gosh!! That’s the smiliest baby ever! You can practically hear the baby giggles through the picture.

  4. Kathy says:

Oh no your poor door frame! Hopefully she’s done her worst and she’ll leave it alone now.

  5. Shelley B says:

Ack, pet damage. We are still trying to figure out how to repair a door frame and not let it happen again – thanks, Paco.

Grr, Paco! Let me know if you come up with something! I wonder if I should spray it with something stinky (cats don’t like sour apple (I think that’s the scent) for example, and they make a spray that smells like it).

  6. Anne says:

What a cute and happy baby! Awww! 🙂

Khali must have smelled cat-whisperer, Terry, on me or something LOL. I’m glad she came out to see me though!

We have an older cat – Diega – who has 5 different scratching posts throughout the house and refuses to use any of them. Rugs and couch ends are her places she exercises her evil claws onto. Frustrating.

UGH! Isn’t it though?!?!? I am not sure what to do about it! I don’t want to punish Khali too much because it seems like she is still learning to trust us. BUT QUIT EFFING UP MY STUFF!
