A 💩week

By , February 3, 2018 6:22 am

I started the week off feeling irritated and angry. And agitated. I actually made a list of things that were bothering me, and how I was feeling. And promised myself I would do something about it if things didn’t get better in a few weeks.

Then our week took a total turn for the worst.

Then the water stopped working at the house (it’s working now).

Then I was worried I’d have to go to urgent care to get an ear bud out (it was stuck deep in my ear for about thirty minutes, until I got home and Steven got it after a few minutes of work. I was freaked out.).

Then the vet called and said both cats have roundworm (which we can get from them… yay).

These two trouble makers

Then… I just had to laugh.

This week can just eff off!

There’s been recognizable and appreciated good, love, and joy in each day. I just need the percentage of that to be a little bit higher! Since I am not working today, and about to leave for a run with Rachel, it’s already headed in that direction! Yay!

I’m so sorry things have been so rough. I wish I was still living nearby, because if anyone understands 💩 weeks (months, years…) lately, it’s me, and I’d be more than happy to listen.

I’m glad you’re still able to see good things in every day – doing that goes a long way! And I’m glad you’re meeting Rachel for a run today, I know that will cheer you up! Have a good time, and I’m always here if you need me ❤️

Thanks! I wish you did too. And I am sorry things have been such shit for you for a long time. I am really hoping the move helps, but I know there’s more than that going on. 🙁

      It did cheer me up!

      And thanks again! <3 :-*

Sending you positive and healing vibes of love. We are so sorry about Snow. I know you will both miss him terribly. And I will miss reading about him. Hope Khali and Data get rid of their round worms and neither of you get them. (Ours have had them before and we have never gotten them) Here’s to better weeks ahead! Enjoy your run with Rachel, I’m sure it will help you feel better! Love ya!

Thank you Denise!!! And thanks for always being excited and responding about his stories (and my other babies – FELLOW CAT MOMS UNITE!!! Ha.).

I am glad to hear it did NOT get passed to you. Steven and I were like, “um… wtf.” Ha ha ha. My stomach’s been off all week so of course the thought crossed my mind. Ha ha ha.

It did help! As does your lovely comment. Love you too!

Oh Lord, what a week! You need a margarita stat! The roundworm thing is like my ultimate nightmare. When Boomer was a puppy I used to take pinworm medication just incase I got some from him! Have a great time on your run!

    • kilax says:

I do! Ha! Wow, why were you worried about it? Is it common in his breed or something (this is all new to me so I am curious).

      Thank you, I did!

Oh wow, I totally missed the part about the earbud (??!?!?!) and the water not working. I’m glad that those two issues resolved themselves. (My family still likes to talk about the time IN PRE-SCHOOL when I put a corn kernel up my nose and had to have it removed by the doctor.)

I hope next week is better and that your run with R was a good way to kick it off.

It was my swimming earbuds, which come off. This has happened before but I was always able to get it out with my finger after my ear dried a bit. Not this time!

Ha ha ha ha ha. My family tells a similar story of me with a bead (“Don’t tell her to blow her nose! She’ll do the reverse!” What did the doctor do? Tell me to blow my nose.)

Thanks! It will be. And it was! I hope you are having a nice weekend! Happy Knitting Bowl!

I hope you aren’t having any more problems right now. They’re bound to feel compounded while you are grieving for Snow. I hope you are taking comfort in your other kitties.

I am not, thank you! I had a good time with Rachel then was surprised with some family in town which really filled my heart 😀

And I am! So happy I have Data and Khali to snuggle with.

What a week indeed. I hope it’s just limited to that…one week. Because seriously, how much crap can one person take?

    • kilax says:

I hope so too!!! And I know it’s not even that bad in the scheme of things, I just felt like it was one thing after another!

  7. Ugh, what a miserable week 🙁 I really hope this week goes a lot better! It’s just awful when things are stacked on top of each other like that and you feel like you can’t catch a break no matter which direction you turn. Sending you lots of hugs and well wishes for a much better week this week!

    • kilax says:

Thank you! It has to, right? (Although I realized yesterday I was giving the cats their round worm medicine wrong and felt so dumb… like what next? I called the vet and it’s all good, phew).

Thanks for the hugs and well wishes and nice comment!!!
