Friday Question #163

By , September 2, 2011 5:01 am

Have you noticed any signs that you are turning in to your parents/guardians? If so, what are they?

There are a few ways I know I am turning in to my mother:

  1. I spill food on myself (my mom does at every meal)
  2. I have no shame
  3. I think wearing themed outfits is funny
  4. I am rarely embarrassed
  5. I take zillions of photos (BUT NONE OF PEOPLE EATING!)
  6. I like to try new things
  7. I like to help people
  8. I try to fit more in my schedule than I really have time for
  9. I like to make friends/talk to people I don’t know
  10. And… I really love Kohl’s. Ha ha.

The main thing is that I spill food on myself though.

And unfortunately I am not as nice as my mom. Or optimistic. Damn, is she ever optimistic.

  1. You are really really nice so I can’t even imagine how nice your mom must be!

LOL, thanks Tori. She is nice like you are – thinks the best of everyone, rarely thinks of herself. I don’t mean that as an insult but I think you know what I mean?

You got all your Mom’s awesome qualities! You hit the jackpot fo sho.

  3. hahaha Im totally turning into my mother. And my father actually.
My personality is practically my father all over again, but then the whole hardcore rule follower thing, that came from my mom. Im also all about common sense, just like my mom.

    YES! KOHL’S!! haha

  5. Kandi says:

I go to bed at 10pm on most nights and wake up at 5 like both my parents.

I think that I’m turning more into my dad – and I’m not sure that it’s 100% a good thing!!!

  7. i do notice little things, but i still can’t do the themed sweaters unless it’s an ugly sweater party and my mom is still nicer than me too

  8. Erin says:

I’m definitely turning into my mom in the need to have the house clean before company comes over. I’m getting a little better about being so neurotic about it, though!
