ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Kim! I am a twenty-five year-old architectural intern. I graduated from Iowa State University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. I live in Round Lake, a suburb of Chicago, that in all reality, is very far away from Chicago. I work for the federal government in Chicago.

I married my boyfriend/fiancé of five years – Steven -  in September of 2007 (Check out wedding photos here and here). I live with him (obviously) and our cat, Data!

Although I am a designer, this site covers more than just that which concerns design. I write about a variety of topics – some silly, some serious, and some work related, but all real.

After spending much of my time after high school going up and down in weight, I decided to start honestly chronicling my “healthy lifestyle quest” here in July 2008. I’ve become re-addicted to running and healthy food (most of time, of course) I hope, for good.

I started this site in July 2005 as a means of keeping in touch with my family and friends. Happily, it has turned into much more than that, as it has introduced me to new friends from all over the world.

In October 2007, I made the switch from hand-coding my site to using wordpress. My old site archives can still be viewed under the Archive 07/2005-10/2007 link.

DISCLAIMER

This site is edited in wordpress, and currently runs a on Panaroma 2.0 by Themocracy. From October 2007 – January 2010, I ran it on a personalized version of the Sorrowful Skies theme.

All of the images on this site have been created by me, with exception to those noted otherwise. Feel free to download these images for personal, non-commercial purposes. But please DO NOT attempt to reproduce these images for commercial purposes in anyway. If you would like to ask for my permission to use these images, please contact me.
