I Believe in the Blerch Socks Giveaway

You guys all saw The Oatmeal’s running comic, featuring the Blerch, earlier this year, right?
Well, I thought it would be fun to include some I Believe in the Blerch socks in my gift exchange bag today at the Chicago Running Blogger Holiday party.
How helpful, the socks arrived today. After I left for the party. Ha ha ha. There were actually a lot of socks gifted at the party! So maybe that’s a good thing I didn’t bring another pair.
Also, it’s a good thing because it means I am giving them away! And they are cute athletic socks!

- One reader will receive a women’s sized pair of “I Believe in the Blerch” athletic socks.
- REQUIRED to enter the giveaway: tell me if you are doing any gift exchange games (white elephant/grab bag/etc.) this year and what you plan to gift.

I am not. I wish I was, I was thinking about a white elephante trading game I did a few years ago and how we haven’t done one since. It was fun! We did a wrap/unwrap version and it was interesting how quickly the wanted gifts changed once they were opened, haha.
We are heading to a running group party on Thursday night, we are to bring white elephant gifts, I am not positive what they will be yet. We really don’t have something small that I could do..what I want to do is probably too big. ;/

Love the socks and the story of Blerch – had not read it before today.
This is so funny. My co-worker and I were just checking this out today while working at the running store (slow day- we needed some comic relief). So crazy! No white elephant but I was able to hand make some ornaments to give out to some friends – first attempt at crafting so they were not amazing but fun to make. Side note I love The Oatmeal dog story too, so true!

Sadly I’m not doing a white elephant exchange although I have the perfect gift. It’s a 32 ounce cup with a giant Jar Jar Binks articulated figure lid. It’s so cool and I wanna gift it so bad.

When did sock exchanges become a thing?
Only the blogger one this year. It was remarkably tame. I would have stolen these!!!
We have a Yankee Swap at work and my contribution is going to be a Charlie Brown Christmas Tree. Hope someone likes it!
I am not doing any gift exchanges this year. I must also add these socks are awesome!
LOVE THESE! Too funny! no white elephant stuff for me this year, although we have many times in the past. I tend to regift past white elephant gifts at the next white elephant party…so I’m sure I have some good stuff in the house…
