Nah, she’s too tiny to be friends with Fluffy!

Steven welded this little dog for my coworker, who has a long haired dachshund. Steven really likes working on these sculptures, but found out when working on the dog that he’d prefer something at a bit larger scale. I think he should make something for Luca next… maybe a train or plane!

Side note: you won’t see poor quality photos like this on the blog much longer… I ordered a new phone with a much better camera! (Ha, composition and content will still be the same!)

Those are neat! How does he make them?

Thanks! He finds the parts and pieces he needs and kind of lays it out to see how it will turn out. Then cuts any pieces that need cutting, and welds them together, cleans it up, then paints it 🙂

Awww. Such a cute pup! At first I thought it looked my basset hounds. 🙂 I guess in statue form they aren’t much different than dachshunds.

O.M.G! The cuteness – it’s so great! Thanks Steven!

I’m so impressed! I think that Steven should open an Etsy store!

What a funny little dog! I guess I didn’t realize how big Fluffy is…like 1 foot tall? 6″ tall? I’m the worst at photo scale….

    • kilax says:

Hee hee, that is a horrible picture to scale off of, and I apologize! Fluffy is about 6″, and the dog is an inch tall at his head 🙂

I was just thinking the same thing about an Etsy store as Kristina! Very cute artwork!

I think he is really on to something! People would buy that in a heartbeat, including me.
