A bit out of it

By , August 17, 2016 7:45 am

Working all day and night (and trying to fit in short workouts) is getting to me. I’m exhausted by the end of the day, every emotion is 10x more intense than it should be, and I’m incoherent and out of it.

So all that being said, I’m super impressed that I realized my shirt was on inside out on the train ride in to the office, and not on the way home. Ha!

  1. Small victories count!!! Hope you get some good rest soon

LOL! Jeff is guilty of this with his running shirts, and it’s not until he’s finished that any of us usually notice (I blame the fact that we start when it’s still dark on that).

When I noticed that this morning I immediately thought of a friend of mine who was recently wearing a running shirt on inside out! LOL

Oh man! Get some rest!will you cut back on something so that you feel better? Hope you’re back to normal schedule soon.

I don’t want to take anymore time off work, so if I cut back on anything, it will be working out, which I am not doing much of, ha! Hopefully we’ll get our part done this weekend so the contractor can start on Monday.

Something similar happened to me with an article of clothing two days ago. I am constantly changing in and out of clothes (run 2x per day + strength train + yoga) I’m always exhausted and getting dressed in a hurry. Anyway, I’m so exhausted I have no more emotions. I would blame running high mileage in this weather, but I’m trying my best not to think about the weather. Is it October yet? 🙂

Maybe I will get to the no emotions point soon! I definitely still have them – I was really upset last night when a hammer fell on my head, lol.

I was thinking that during my lunch run yesterday. WHEN WILL THIS BE OVER? And, “I hope it’s cool for people running Chicago!”

Oh dear! Hope you get a chance to have some down time soon – sounds like you could use it! Hugs!

Wow, no surprise that you are out of it. You have put in so much work this past month. I hope you can finish soon and get back to a semi-relaxing state of things, though I know you’re always busy and entertaining people!

Your first two sentences described exactly how I feel having a newborn, toddler, and returning to work while trying to fit workouts in!
You’ve been doing so much house stuff lately! It will be so rewarding once things settle down. I would love to have our kitchen redone and our first floor repainted but we have too much other stuff going on right now. Maybe someday.
