Notes:

  • Someone new tried my Monday night class. Awesome! I later saw she posted the class picture on Facebook and someone commented about her trying “CrossFit.” Ha. Ha ha. My class is not CrossFit, but I can see how people think CrossFit and Bootcamp, etc., are synonymous for what we do!
  • Another instructor attended my class Friday morning, which was awesome, because it gave me some energy I didn’t know I had!
  • I felt really good at my swim this week, and didn’t need any breaks! That is probably because I didn’t go right after class (I had a meeting then went) and because I didn’t box in class, ha.
  • Yay, I did a “long” run this week! And the weather was decent – a glimpse of fall with temps in the low 60s!  I can’t wait to get back to running more. I feel so off and blah and generally miserable.
  • The new shorts worked well for the long run. They seem thicker than my old shorts though, and feel a bit hotter.

How cool that someone new tried the class and you got to see her post about it on Facebook! I have to admit that I kind of think boot camp and cross fit are synonymous too 🙂

Yes! That made me feel good! I bet in some instances they ARE the same!!! My class is just neither, lol. Well, neither of the “technical” definition of them! 🙂

Yay for the “glimpse of fall” that we had this weekend. My long run was so much easier with temps in the upper 60s as opposed to upper 80s. Yesterday I felt good – like I could run another few miles when I was done with my LR. The weekend before – not so much!

  3. Anne says:

Oh yay, glad you still got to swim Friday! There is NO WAY I could have after that class. Damn. The boxing. My arms and shoulders are still feeling it!

I really liked having Pam next to me in class – it was a great challenge for me because I was trying to keep up with her!

You got your mileage back up – that is good! I wish I could come take class with one day.
The humidity was better today and it just makes everything so much more pleasant. I was really going downhill!

Me too! That would be fun!

Those short little glimpses of fall REALLY help to remind us that we all don’t suck at running. Ha.
