Thank you, Santa

You know you’re an adult when you get excited about receiving yard equipment for Christmas! Ha! It’s not even winter yet and we’ve already had at least seventeen inches of snow so… I think the snowblower will come in handy. Thanks, Santa (Steven’s dad)!

(Another lame adult thing on my wishlist this year? The Swiffer Bissel steam mop. Ha.)

Whoa, Steve looks super intense, like a wintery mountain man, with that beard and snow-blower!

Man, shoveling snow sucks. I’d be excited about that too. I got excited when I got a “real” vacuum.

LOL!!!! Gina said he looks like he should be in an LL Bean Catalog – “All weather jacket $99” LOLOLOLOL

I like the workout of shoveling… for about 30 mins. After that I am like “Eff this.” Ha. I still will be shoveling the patio the cats live on and paths for them in the yard 🙂

That is one of those gifts that you will use for years, but it does sound funny to be excited about, except that I totally get it (says the recipient of a leaf blower for Christmas last year).

YESSSSSSSSSSS – I totally get the leaf blower excitement! Steven got some other great stuff for his (12/22) bday from his dad that will be great for the yard – a weed wacker and an chainsaw extension. Yay lawn tools! And I don’t think I told you, but we bought a pressure washer this fall!!!

Yay for the snowblower! Our neighbors on the left and right have one and when they shovel they usually shovel in front of our house too.

I so need one of those for the big snows we get. I still shovel by hand, which means I’m getting both exercise and a sore back.
