Sixteen years
A friend of mine is on an amazing anniversary trip in Spain right now and it’s making me think of how I’d LOVE to go back there, especially with Steven (who’s never been). So I pulled up my pictures from my first trip there and HOLY SHEET how has it been sixteen* years (to the date)?! HOW.

Time flies… with too little travel!!! We’re in a spot right now (and have been for years) where the majority of our travel is small trips to see friends and family (because time and $$$). And that’s totally cool! But we’d love to see more of the world… someday.

Total baby! I was 17! And I used to dye my hair all the time. I haven’t since college.

Wow, look at how young and blonde you were 16 years ago! I hope you get to travel more outside the country soon (but first, come to SF!). Where in Spain did you go? Was this a school trip?
Thanks! And yes, we plan to go to SF first! In Spain, we went to Madrid, Cordoba, Sevilla, Torremolinos, Granada, and Toledo. In college I went to Barcelona. That trip was a school trip, after my senior year! My dad came along 🙂
I went to Scotland seven years ago, and anytime I see pictures of where I went, either through Facebook friends traveling there or in articles or whatever, it makes me want to go back so bad. Hopefully someday! Once again, if only I could have a full time salary + benefits + unlimited vacation time (+ a magical self-replenishing vacation fund).
I bet it was amazing there! I hope you get to go back. And I hope we both end up with the magical life with all the vacation time and money! Somehow. Ha!
