Everyone’s outside wearing their new spring gear, and I’m walking around, looking like Frumpy McFrumperson.
I hope it rains.
I need to quit sleeping on the train and start getting more sleep at home. Even if that means going to bed at 9:00, it’s better than waking up feeling like Tired McGrumperson everyday.

Today’s Idiom: crocodile tears – insincere tears
When I found out they were breaking up I did shed a few tears – but crocodile tears. I wanted to comfort her, but really, I thought it was for better that he was leaving her.

Sleep can do wonders for ones outlook. I am a major grump when I don’t get my beauty rest!
I hear ya! With my fiance’s new work schedule, I’m getting up around 4:45 every morning. I definitely need to go to bed earlier. Gah!
This weekend I finally TOSSED my winter coat (it had a hole in the pocket, missing button, etc – I got enough seasons out of it) – I felt like such a reject wearing a wool pea coat in April! I luckily found a suitable spring jacket to wear. I also did a lil spring shopping, but still feel like I’m in winter gear.
I’d be afraid to sleep on the train. But, maybe that’s just me being paranoid. 😉

sizzle – Today I was so tired I felt like I was in college again. Then, I was only getting 4-5 hours a sleep a night, and felt like a zombie. I am the zombie that walks the streets of Chicago…
Nilsa S. – Oh jeez! That is awful! What time do you go to bed?!
Gina (Mannyed) – I LOVE colorful spring jackets. I am walking around in a long black coat though… and A LOT of people didn’t even have jackets on today! I think people are going a bit crazy because the weather has been so bad this year!
Kyra – It’s not bad on Metra – it’s the same people day in and out… but I would never sleep on the L!

Go ahead and break out the Spring clothes! I did it a couple of weeks ago and finally shook off the winter blahs.
