I want

Have you ever seen a cooler USB Flash Drive? I think not.

Yesterday I picked up an issue of Star Wars Insider to read on the train ride home. I actually used to subscribe to this magazine, when I was in high school, but haven’t since.

So I’m reading this article “100 Best Things About Star Wars… Ever!” and when I get to the end of it, the next page is an advertisement from titan magazines for Heroes magazine, Star Trek magazine, Smallville magazine, Lost magazine… you get the idea.

I’m thinking, “What a bunch of worthless magazines! Who would want to read that?!”

As I sit on the train. With a copy of the Star Wars Insider.

Hmm. Time for a reality check, Kim.

I didn’t even know that they *made* Star Wars magazines!

  2. Steven says:

    Star Trek Magazine!?!? Cool!

  3. Cat. says:

I was laughing at your post. Then I actually snorted with laughter at Steven’s comment. Sign us both up, Scotty! 😉

P.S. I like the flash drive. Any chance I get to rip Luke’s head right off is a good chance. (I think I’ve been forced into watching Star Wars a few too many times…)

I used to subscribe to both the Star Wars and Star Trek magazines. But they both went through stagnate periods where they recycled the same old news over and over so I stopped. I still miss them some days. Like today. Thanks a lot! 🙂

Hilly – That is what I thought when I saw the Heroes magazine. I wonder what content they come up with for it! What the articles on the cover was advertising of the character’s “Top Ten Injuries.”

Steven – Too bad your birthday isn’t until December.

Cat. – Ha ha! 🙂 He’s probably serious. Who is making you watch SW over and over?

Dave2 – That is part of the reason I quit subscribing. The magazine was decent during the prequel years – I liked the articles about making the movies. But then it got weird… you’re not missing too much with this issue 😉

Clearly you haven’t read the blog, A Geek in Anything but Pink, which is all things cute and geeky. Check out this post regarding colored hard drives … http://mustlovegeek.com/2008/04/14/a-rainbow-of-hard-drives/.

Nilsa S. – I just added that site to my reader two weeks ago! I thought of it when I wrote this post today. I wondered if she had mentioned these cute little USB guys yet! P.S. I want the orange hard drive!

kapgar – Which one(s) do you want? I like R2, Vader, and Leia, but the first two are sold out.

Those are so cute! I haven’t used a USB drive in forever, though. I email myself things if I need to 😉

Bethany – I usually use email too. You know what though? I get so annoyed clicking the “download to desktop” button. What is up with that? 😉
