Do you know anyone who goes out of their way to correct people, even when it’s unnecessary, just to make themselves feel better than everyone?

I do.

Today’s Idiom: to pass the busk – to evade responsibility

I tired to pass the buck when my boss asked who specified the pink wall tile.

Oh yeah. I can name about a dozen without even thinking twice about it.

  2. Kyra says:

๐Ÿ™ Tell them to take a flying leap. They’re probably in the same club as the people who told me I am a waste of a human being yesterday. They must be campaigning.

  3. Nilsa S. says:

I think your use of “everyone” twice is one sentence is excessive.

    Hahaha. I kid.

No seriously, I’m joking! And yes, I want to wring those people around the neck and not let go. Until they’re blue in the face and they’ve stopped breathing. Though, I normally go with the more socially acceptable route of just walking away. ha.

  4. diane says:

I’m just giggling because I have that EXACT SAME NOTEPAD!!! Hee hee hee.

  5. Dave2 says:

    Everybody does. ๐Ÿ™

If it’s not spoken directly, it’s thought about inside. It’s that little bit of OCD in all of us.

  7. hahahaha, that picture is HILARIOUS! Just roll your eyes at them.

  9. javaqueen14 says:

AH-ha-ha-ha! That’s an awesome note pad ‘ya got there, where can I get one of those!??? And, I surely know of that type of person (actually a few come to mind)…. there’s one at every single workplace. Yeah, they do need to get over themselves…. it’s hilarious. I just think of those people as “cheap entertainment” WHOOT! WHOOT! Love that notepad! Clever and funny post, made me LOL!

  10. Hilly says:

    I need that notepad….like stat ;).

And yes, I know people like that. I try so hard NOT to be one of them!

  11. sizzle says:

    I love those notepads!

And yes, I am familiar with this kind of person. Unfortunately.

  12. Cat. says:

Yes I do. Sux to work for one. Sux more to work with a dozen of ’em. So I left work early today. Like Hilly I try hard not to be one of them, sometimes with limited success. ๐Ÿ˜‰

kapgar – Hmm, I am not that high yet. At least, not off the top of my head.

Kyra – I just wonder what makes these people so rotten. It doesn’t bother me too much, but makes me feel sorry for them.

Nilsa S. – I only used everyone once! ๐Ÿ˜‰ HA HA! Now I AM DOING IT!!!

diane – Do you have any of the others?

    Dave2 – I didn’t realize that until now!

martymankins – It’s the people who dosay it, inappropriately… wtf?

Gina (Mannyed) – They may have rolled as far as they’ll go!

CourtneyInControl – Hmmm, I bought a similar notepad for someone who has a birthday in May and lives in TX… ๐Ÿ˜‰

    javequeen14 – knockknock.biz! Click on “goods” then “pads.” Hmmm, I didn’t even mention the workplace… ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hilly – That’s a good point – I should definitely make sure I don’t do that. I should make a checklist of all the qualities I complain about others having… to make sure they are not ones I have too!

    sizzle – Hopefully you don’t know many…

Cat. – I wish I could leave early ๐Ÿ˜‰ Everyday. I always fess up if something is my fault… like this huge lighting problem I am having… I made up the pink tiles ๐Ÿ™‚ But yuck! I hope yours were not bright pink!
