A reason to stick with racerback tops

There are a lot of cool running tops out there with unique backs. Here are some I have been lusting after from jcp.com:

Here is one I have:

You can kind of see how it has a racerback and regular shoulder straps going down the back.  Well, apparently it can give you a funky tan, even when you are running on an overcast day:

As if my tan wasn’t already FUNKY enough! Ha – look at that funny strip! And look at how white my back is compared to my shoulders. Whoa. Funny funny funny.

What is the funkiest tan you’ve ever had?

I have that exact same top!!! I’ve only worn it a couple of times and it’s never hot or sunny enough to really develop a funky tan. But I love the top.

I don’t even run in racerback tops so far. I usually just wear regular tanks.
I got a crazy burn on my stomach yesterday. It’s striped because I was sitting in a kayak wearing a sports bra and had put sunscreen everywhere but my stomach (since I was wearing a tank to start). Since I was sitting, my stomach folded over a little and left me with a white stripe. It is burnt pretty bad too. 🙁 Sunscreen fail.

I ended up with a light sunburn the day before my wedding. I wore a normal tank top to set up my outdoor wedding reception and then had to wear a strapless dress the next day. Great idea.

You mean other than my stupid knee tan? I personally hate my shorts tan line but I know it’s a necessary evil from being outside so much while wearing running shorts.

Ha, this is what I look like too! It is kinda odd looking when you are wearing a bathing suit without and shorts yet the tan lines on your legs make it look like you have a pair of white shorts on.
