Thoughts:

  • I am thinking it is time for a short break and running some shorter distances. But if I put that in writing, it will probably not happen. We’ll see, I guess! I still have four races left this year (how did that happen?)!
  • I had my first real sports massage yesterday. My hamstrings and feet (weird?) are really tight. Sigh. I know, I know!!! I’m all wound up!

Congrats on finishing the marathon!!! And sports massages are awesome!! I only get those when I’m doing PT for an injury though…And **knocks on wood** I haven’t had to get one of those in a while!!

Congrats on the marathon – wow! Sounds like a pretty great weekend, by the way. It is awesome to connect with like-minded people.
I’m a huge fan of the sports massage. For me, massage is not about “oooh, I’m going to relax” but “OW! Hurts so good!”.
