200K!

My baby, the KIMBOT, hit a huge milestone yesterday – 200,000 miles!

Major thanks to Steven for snapping this pic. I knew he’d be in the car when it hit 200,000 and I kept telling him over and over I wanted a photo of it. He was driving on the interstate when it happened, so he pulled over and took the pic. He said the lighting was really weird, so he had to wait for a semi to drive by and conceal all the shadows, then take burst mode photos until he got a good one. Aww. That’s true love!

To treat her, she got a car wash today! And maybe she’ll get detailed after the crummy weather is over in the spring.

I’ve had my Infinti FX35 since 2009. She’s a fun, reliable car (we’ve had typical wear and tear, and made investments in her). I foresee her being my ride for quite some time… but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been looking around. Particularly at the Jaguar F-PACE. drooooooooooool

Someday…

That’s impressive that Steven remembered to take a photo when the car hit 200,000! I probably would have forgotten or not even noticed until too late.

Wow, that’s awesome! Kimbot is a really comfortable car to ride in (I can say this from experience!).

I’m amused by Steven’s precision in taking the photo. What a good partner!!

Your husband gets you, that’s for sure. Love that he pulled over to get a good picture of the event, and wow, 200K is a lot of mileage on that vehicle! Go KIMBOT. 🙂

My beloved car also recently hit 200k! It was pretty exciting too. Matt was riding with me in the car when it happened so we got a picture of it. I would like to get a new (to me) car but the plan is to keep driving my current one until it breaks down. I’ve been pretty lucky because it has been reliable with few problems (of course there have been fun, but that’s to be expected for a car with a lot of miles!). Keep running G6 and Kimbot!

Oh cool! And how fun that you were together! I was sad I missed out on mine!

I think I am in the same boat (er, car) – ride until it breaks down! I hope that ours both do well for a long time!!!
