If this was last week…

By , December 2, 2009 5:52 am

Did anyone else wake up this morning and think, “If this was last week, today would be my last day of the work week!”?

I sure did!

I really don’t have any room to complain though. I didn’t have to work a single full week for the entire month of November (I have two full weeks this month though).

Besides, if it was last week, the holiday festivities would just be that much further away!

But those 3-day work weeks ARE nice! December really wears me out, and it would be great to have a few extra days off to prepare for the holidays and chill.

There is not enough time in the week! I would love to only work 6 hours a day and then go home and play for the rest of the day!

If this was last week, I’d already be on vacation. So, no, I didn’t wake up with such excitement this morning. =)

Having more break time at holidays is definitely one of the perks of grad school. I remembered this last week when I was talking to my friends with office jobs, blah! The only downside is all the reading and work I’ll have to do over break, instead of being free from work/school responsibilities. Booooo.

I woke up this week and thought, “Only three more weeks until I don’t have to work for a whole week!”. Yes, I am all about the future. 😉

No, I didn’t think that UNTIL YOU BROUGHT IT UP. Thanks a lot, Kim!

Just kidding. I don’t think I could go through Thanksgiving twice anyway.

If it was last week, I’d be thinking, “Oh man, everyone gets off the next two days except for me!” It’s the other way around for me…last day of work this week!! 🙂

As overwhelmed as I am lately, I don’t want it to hurry up and be Christmas. I still have to do all my shopping and baking and everything!

  12. If this was last week, I would already be on Vacation 🙂 I shouldn’t complain though I only have two full weeks of work before I take the whole week of Christmas off (driving from TX to WV). Somehow I find myself exhasted in December. I think all the shopping, holiday parties and decorating gets me worn out. Hang in there we are almost to a fresh and new year.

Hi Kim, thanks for stopping by my blog. I read your comment and realized I got confused between two books I am reading. The one I got my workout routine from is “The Abs Diet for Women” by David Zinczenko. I find the weight circuit easy to follow and it covers all the muscle groups. The other book is the ” Flat Belly Diet Cookbook” by Liz Vaccariello. This has some really great recipes and even a vegetarian chapter.

Tee hee. This week HAS felt long! But I think it’s partly because I have SO MUCH I am excited about going on this weekend, and partly because I’ve been in Excel hell for two days. :p

  20. YES! And today I woke up and said I can’t believe Thanksgiving was a week ago already!
