Things I’m excited about in January!

  1. Actual free time. December was fun but freaking busy and exhausting. This month is quieter!
  2. Steven finishing Khali and Snow’s new house. He’s been working hard on it and it looks AWESOME! And yes, maybe this month I will actually take those two to the vet. Bad cat mom.
  3. Gina and Steve running the Houston marathon on January 15th. It’s Steve’s first marathon (on his birthday!) and Gina is going for a big PR! I won’t be there, but will be cheering them on from afar!
  4. Date nights with friends. We have a few things set up, including going to an opera (I got Steven collar bars for his birthday and he wants to dress up and use them!).
  5. Baby William’s arrival! His due date is January 31, but I predicted February 5 for his delivery. Sorry, snis. I hope he comes in the end of January!
  6. More organizing/purging.
  7. Finishing those bunnies and starting a new knitting project.
  8. Not training for anything. Ha, not that I was, but I’m usually in the thick of 5K training in January and won’t be this year!
  9. Continuing to swim for health. And hit up the hot tub, ha.
  10. Eating healthier and feeling less lethargic (I’m hoping my poor diet and being busy is why I’ve been exhausted lately – if eating better and sleeping more doesn’t fix that, I may see a doc).

I’ll be at the Houston race and will send cheers to all the marathoners – it’s a great course for a marathon, but that is still a lot of miles to run, no two ways around it.

Hope you do start to feel better! You need to build up your strength for your upcoming Auntie duties. 🙂

I had to look up collar bars; I had no idea they were a thing. I bet you will look super fancy at the opera. Which one are you going to see?

I didn’t realize you were feeling so low-energy. I hope you feel better soon!

We were watching a Bond movie and he uses them and that is when Steven mentioned he wanted some! I had to look up what they are actually called! We are going to see Zie Magic Flute.

Thanks! Me too! Sick of it!

I bet a week or two of ‘rest’ and eating better will help you feel better. Don’t forget your B vits, they might give you a boost if you haven’t been taking them! How exciting is it waiting for a baby! My friend is having her first in March and I’m just dying for baby snuggles (with zero responsibility lol).

I hope you do feel better! Oh, and I also had to look up collar bars. Fancy!!!

Wow! Exciting plans! What opera are you going to see?

When I was in my mid 30’s I felt tired all the time and it turned out to be my thyroid…definitely check it out if it doesn’t resolve for you, it may be something totally fixable.

So exciting about your sister’s baby – I bet she’s getting anxious to have him already!

We are going to see Zie Magic Flute 🙂

Yeah, that is what I was wondering about! I hope that is not it, but I will get it checked out if I continue to feel blah!

She is excited, but hasn’t said anything (to me anyway, ha) yet like “get him out of me!” LOL
