8 weeks later…

… and Khali is still living inside.

Is anyone even mildly surprised?!

We somewhat are. Our full intention was to let her back outside after she recovered. But we enjoy having her inside too much.

Data secretly does, too. He plays with Khali a few times a day,

and they’re getting pretty close to snuggling together!

A surprise benefit of having Khali live inside is that Data doesn’t bother me as much to wake up in the morning! He used to, sometimes for a couple of hours, before my alarm. But now, when he goes to my pillow to meow in my face at 4:00 am, and sees Khali is nearby, he goes back to the foot of the bed because he doesn’t want to be around her! Ha! Thanks, Khali!

I’ll end with an update on Snow – he’s still loving the outdoor cat life! And we still need to find a way to get him to the vet to be neutered… he’s got too much swagger for his own good!

Khali is darling, and it’s so cute to see her and Data playing together.

You might have to trap Snow using a humane trap to get him to be neutered. Sometimes humane societies or rescue groups will have loaners that you can borrow. Tuna fish works well as bait.

I love seeing them have fun!!!

I might have to do that. I am hoping it doesn’t resort to that. I have been trying to work with him to get more comfortable with me handling him. LOL. Who knows what will happen the morning I try to put him in the box though!

Wow, Snow’s set-up is so fancy! Steven built the house, right?

I’m glad Khali is enjoying her inside home. I’ve heard so many stories of cats having to be introduced and not getting along, so I’m glad she and Data are not stressing each other out.

He did! I need to write an entire post on it. It has a lot of cool features and details.

Me too! I am surprised. I always thought Data was an only child! I guess not!

He really does have swagger, ha ha, cute. Glad Khali is enjoying being inside. I bet one day soon she’ll be spooning with Data, just make sure you keep your camera ready.

Khali looks so content – I’m glad it worked out for her to become an inside kitty. And Data needed a sibling, whether he realized it or not, LOL. Snow does look pretty cool in that gif; I wonder, even if you managed to get him to the vet, how he’s going to deal with them. Can they slip him a Mickey while he’s in the crate so he doesn’t tear the staff to shreds?

I wonder if he’ll be chill like Khali was, or completely freak the eff out and destroy the place! I will have to ask them what their plans are to “contain” that, ha ha.

I’m not surprised at all. I’m glad she and Data get along- I think it is great he has a sibling now! I wish we had a bigger house and yard so we could get Sushi a playmate.

So sweet how she has integrated into the family!

Awww, there’s just so much cuteness here 🙂

I’m glad Khali living inside is working out so well for you guys and for Data!

Khali is adorable!!! I want to get another sibling for Lola so that she isn’t so lonely. I am not sure how she’ll react to having another cat in the house.
