Knock Knock Giveaway

By , February 7, 2013 11:37 am

I’ve written about Knock Knock products a few times – most recently in my Who needs a social media citation? post. I also have their Fashion Citation Nifty Note and Things You Must Do to Make Me Happy pad. There are also a few other things I want from their site that are not too appropriate…

Anyways. Knock Knock saw my latest post and contacted me to say they liked it and were happy I was enjoying their products. So I asked if they would sponsor a giveaway and they sent me the It’s Gonna Be Okay Guided Journal!

Here’s the description from their site:

Science has proven that optimism is actually good for your heart, and this amusing writer’s journal affirms the notion that it’s also good for your brain. With playful prompts and witty quotations, It’s Gonna Be Okay is smart yet comforting—like a pair of horn-rimmed rose-colored glasses.

– Featuring over 70 quotes of hopeful wit
– The perfect gift for both glass-half-full and half-empty types
– Paperback; 7 x 9.5 inches; 160 pages; full-color throughout; ribbon page marker

I took a peek at it and really liked the quotes inside! I think having prompts is a fun way to journal, and to get you to think about something you might not have before.

oh.my.goodness. Their stuff is HILARIOUS! My husband and I could totally use a few of these items as some extra special office flair 🙂 Never kept a hand-written journal before, but the prompts would be super helpful!

  2. Kiersten says:

I have kept a hand written journal on and off for years, especially when traveling. I had a bunch of 1/4 filled journals so recently I tore out all the pages I’d written on and compiled them into a single notebook.

I liked Knock Knock on Facebook

And checked out their site. I love the WTF notpad. I say that myself a million times during the work day. Writing my notes on it would make me smile.

  3. I need this. After my January I need this!

I kept handwritten journals since I was little and still do 🙂

  4. I used to keep a hand-written journal in highschool. I don’t even want to read them… I’m sure they were just ridiculous… lol

I love this idea, though! Nice to have for little vents or reflections…

  5. Erica A says:

I liked them (and have some of their stickies from modcloth.com!) and I need these http://www.knockknockstuff.com/catalog/categories/sticky-notes/cubicle-notes/complaint-sticky/ for my desk. In fact, I may buy them RIGHT NOW! Thanks!
(I used to keep a handwritten journal… now I just do most of it online, but would love to gift this one to my MIL who keeps hand written ones!)

  6. Kandi says:

I like that journal! I used to write in a journal everyday but it was all silly girl stuff in excriating detail (mostly about boys I liked and our interaction). I started writing a random journal late last year to document big goings on in my life but this would be fun to have prompts to right about.

I loled at the bathroom guest book. I think that is my favorite so far.

  7. Heather says:

I’ve definitely kept a journal, but I have a hard time sticking with it!

  8. Heather says:

I love the doily coasters!! So cute, and appropriate! 🙂

  9. I kept a journal when Jon and I were long distance for a year. I think it was the most helpful way to get through it and the year flew by!

I liked Knock Knock on Facebook.

I love the ‘Rate That Wine Pad’ – best way to keep track of them!

  10. J says:

I have a 5 year journal and I love it. Lets me fill in about 5 lines for each day for 5 years. i started it because my mom used to do it all the time and still does. Its getting harder and harder to find 5 year diaries.

  11. Kim says:

THIS IS SO CUTE! I used to sporadically keep one growing up, then on my laptop. However, since it crashed and I lost everything in December, I’ve realized typing my life memories is not the best way to preserve them. I’d love to use this!

  12. I used to keep a journal back in my elementary school and middle school days! I still have the journal(s) but no longer write in one :/

  13. Beth says:

Aw, that journal is awesome! I used to keep a journal in junior high and high school, but haven’t kept one lately. (Unless you count my blog or my training log.) Have a great Thursday!

  14. Yes I’ve kept a journal before online and in paper form. I have a WW journal I have yet to really crack into just need to find the time…..

  15. Brittani says:

Aww, i LOVE hand-written, tangible journals. I kept one growing up, but these days I just seem to write random thoughts and things in my daily planner. While I love electronic tracking, it feels so fresh and free to put pen to paper and just SPILL. This looks like a great one!

  16. I also posted on Facebook. 🙂

  17. I would also choose to buy the days of the week file folders, because my work life revolves around deadlines!

  18. I’ve kept a handwritten journal at different points in my life – childhood, travel periods, and some particularly challenging periods in my adult life as well. I love blogging, but there’s also a big benefit to handwriting out your thoughts, the security of the privacy (apart from my little sisters when I was growing up! 🙂 ).

  19. I liked them on Facebook & also posted about the giveaway on Facebook!

  20. I also really like the paper mousepads they have! I think I’d get the “5 Days a Week” one! And I could have definitely used the WTF stickies this week! 🙂

  21. Christina says:

Every time I try to start a journal I end up quitting after a week or so. I do enjoy keeping a very detailed planner though! 🙂

    Thanks for the entry!

  22. Emily says:

I kept a hand-written journal on and off when I was grade school, junior high, and high school. Now, my handwriting has gotten so horrible since I rarely write by hand anymore. Plus, when I journal, I think faster than I can type, let alone hand-write. But there is something so special and personal about things that are handwritten, isn’t there!?!?!?

  23. Leah says:

I’ve kept journals on and off throughout the years but I’ve never begin consistent with it.

  24. renee says:

No I am told it would do me wonders

I posted about this contest on Facebook in a status.

I liked Knock Knock on Facebook.

Another Knock Knock product that I love is the Personal Library Kit! So helpful for lending out books, and also so cute.

  29. I used to keep a journal when I was younger. I have tried to keep a daily journal but can’t seem to remember to make an entry in it each day. I’d rather than a journal similar to this that prompts me to write when I feel like writing.

  30. I like Knock Knock on facebook (they actually referred me to this giveaway)

  31. I love the paper mouse pads within the dorm stuff. Perfect for my daughter in college to have her week-at-a-glance in front of her when she surfs the web.

  32. Simon says:

Love this. I’ve always struggled with journaling because of the blank page — I think these reassuring messages would help. (I also love the Knock Knock shit list pad).

  33. Many times, with a record of 3 days in length at a time.

  34. Amy p says:

Yes I have kept a journal.

  35. I keep a little notebook with ideas to write down throughout the day. I used to keep a little diary when I was little, but now I use digital files on my laptop.

    I liked them on Facebook.

  36. Naomi Vaive says:

Yes. I have and do. I like to jot down thoughts and look back to see if I still feel the same.

  37. Steph says:

I’ve kept a journal off and on for many years. I find writing very peaceful and love to go back and read them. I have several journals that are partially filled. I have a hard time doing it daily though.

I shared your contest to my timeline.

I have kept a journal before:) not for a while though!

  39. Trish Robson says:

I have kept a number of journals. From my teen-twenty years when life was as dark as can be, to the travel journal that I wrote when on my first overseas holidays with my husband.
I have kept everything, to remind me that life has its ups and downs, and that I always manage to pull through to enjoy the ups more often than not.

  40. Nicole says:

I kept a handwritten journal one summer and I am so glad that I did. I go back and read it a lot.

I love all of Knock Knock’s products but my favorites are the “Hey A**hole Pad” and the “Parking Citation Nifty Note” I could use both on a regular occasion because of my roommates :).

Finally, my favorite things on the Knock Knock website are the High Five pads and the Passive-Aggressive Note Pads (they’re so hilarious!)

  43. Lindsay says:

I have the Crap receiptables accordion file book, and several other hilarious items from Knock Knock. I currently have a 5-year question journal where you answer a question every day for 5-years with roughly a 2 -sentence response. As of late I’m beginning to think i need a journal with more space for elaborating the randomness I have been experiencing.

  44. Christa L. says:

No, I haven’t ever written a journal. I wish I had written a journal during my life.

  45. yin says:

    1) I used to have a hand written journal. Actually I just stopped hand writing my journal 4-5 years ago. I used to put my journal right next to my bed and write before my sleep

    2) Share on my facebook

    3) Already LIKED Knock Knock on Facebook.

    4) My favor one from Knock Knock is “Inner-Truth Journal, I’m Going To Die”. Knock Knock website doesn’t have it anymore. 🙁

My new favor is “Do Your Chores Pad”. I actually use it around the house to tell people “hey do your chores!”

    Thanks for this giveaway!

  50. Tzivia says:

    Kept handwritten journal.

  51. Jacky says:

I keep a hand written fitness journal, keep it on my bed site table so hand written is easier than electronic.

  52. RunningLaur says:

I don’t keep a handwritten journal now, but I used to when I was in grade school. I still have a few of them and they are pretty ridiculous to look back on!
I’m really tempted to get the ‘Fifty Farts” cards as a gift for Troy. I bet he’d think that they’re funny. Maybe for his birthday….
