Notes:

  • Ahh! It’s the first day of December! How is it already the last month of the year? Are you racing in December? Are you planning ahead for 2014?
  • “Racing” on Saturday bugged a lateral part of my left quad muscle. I actually felt it a little bit during the race. Then it was tight on Sunday’s run. Grr.  This is the muscle that bugged me in the end of October, and a massage helped it feel better. So… I really need to foam roll. Like, every day. And not run “fast,” if I’m not going to train for it (duh).
  • I have some fun fitness events happening in December! I am really excited to incorporate exercise in to the celebration of the holiday season!

No races planned for me….I’m looking forward to 2014, and starting out slow and steady. Hope your quad feels better soon!

I was going to do a half, but I figure I just a need a rest from October (still…) and to maintain my running for my next marathon training cycle (to start in Jan/Feb). Lots of easy runs and planks!

No more races this year. Maybe something on Jan 1st if there is anything good out there…

Other than the Santa Run, what do you have planned? I don’t have any more races planned this month but I am finally redeeming my pole dancing class I bought via Living Social 🙂

I am doing a 5K in Zion this week, the Rudolph Ramble with Gina and maybe a 5K at the end of the month with Andrew. 🙂

I bet that class will be SO fun! 🙂 I used to read this blog that took pole dancing then drew these awesome MS paint illustrations of it 🙂
